Planning Board Meeting April 8, 2025 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to an application of Elazar David Wiedner, 3924 New Utrecht Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11219, for approval of a subdivision plan entitled “6 Mirror Lake Road”, proposing to subdivide the 0.54-acre parcel into two-lots and construct a new single family dwelling and driveway on lot 2 and the existing single family and driveway will remain on lot 1. The property in question is located at 6 Mirror Lake Road, Spring Valley, NY on the north side of Mirror Lake Road, approximately 0 feet east of Andover Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.19-3-48 and is located in an R-15 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on February 11, 2025, and a coordinated review was initiated on February 13, 2025. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) site plan and special use permit discussion, with respect to an application of JSF Associates, Inc., PO Box 1067, Hillburn, NY 10931 for approval of a site development plan entitled “Country Inn”, proposing site plan and special use permit approval of the existing residential units, small restaurant, office and active vineyard operation currently operating as a Country Inn. The property in question is located at 1 Torne Brook Road, Hillburn, NY on the southwest corner of Torne Brook Road and Torne Valley Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 47.07-1-2 and is located in an R-40 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action on February 11, 2025, and a coordinated review was initiated on February 13, 2025. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
- Application of EZ Assoc. LLC c/o Frieder, PO Box 1308, Monsey, NY 10952, for Final Subdivision approval of a subdivision plan entitled “250 North Pascack Road”, proposing to subdivide 0.497-acres into two lots and construct a single-family dwelling on each lot. The existing single-family dwelling will be removed. The property in question is located at 250 N. Pascack Road, Spring Valley, NY on the east side of Pascack Road approximately 169 feet North of Sherman Drive, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.15-4-62, and is located in a R-15 Zone. On November 11, 2024, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
