The Purchasing Department procures goods and services for various Town departments and agencies at the lowest overall cost.
Various methods are utilized to accomplish this objective including: formal competitive bidding, informal competitive proposals, or informal direct purchase.
Procurement information shall be a public record to the extent provided in the New York State Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law, sections 84-90), and shall be available to the public as provided in such statute.
