Planning Board Meeting February 11, 2025 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), final site plan, with respect to an application of Deborah Grunwald, 320 Remsen Avenue, Monsey, NY 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled “320 Remsen Avenue”, proposing an additional curb cut. The property in question is located at 320 Remsen Avenue, Monsey, NY on the east side of Remsen Avenue, approximately 0 feet south of Highview Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.06-2-43 and is located in an R-15A Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
- Re-Affirm prior SEQRA Statement of Findings. Application of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., 1424 Long Meadow Road, Tuxedo, NY 10987, for Amended Final Site Plan approval of a site development plan entitled “Interim Construction Support Plan”, proposing to construct interim structures to support the construction of previously approved Site Plan on the 242-acre site. The property is located at 155 Sterling Mine Road, Sloatsburg, NY on the east Side of Sterling Mine Road approximately 177 feet southeast of Eagle Valley Road, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 38.14-1-1, and is located in a MU-3 Zone.Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
