Planning Board Meeting February 14, 2023 at 8:00 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 8:00pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to an application of Yehuda Stanger, 134 Union Road, Spring Valley, New York, 10977, for approval of a Subdivision Plan entitled “134 Union Road”, which proposes a two-lot subdivision of 0.53 acres with two-family dwelling on each lot, the existing single-family dwelling to be demolished. The property in question is located at 134 Union Road, Spring Valley, NY 10977 on the East side of Union Road approximately 70 feet South of Eckerson Road, designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.13-3-33 and is located in a R-15 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on November 22, 2022, and a coordinated review was initiated on December 5, 2022. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
2. Re-Affirm prior SEQRA Determination and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Pri Letoiva Institute, PO Box 1092, Monsey NY 10952 for Amended Site Plan Approval of a site plan entitled “609 Route 306” for a project named “Pri Letoiva Institute – Munkatch”. The amended site plan proposes an entry vestibule, window wells and rear stairway on the 2.01-acre site. The property in question is located at 609 Route 306, on the West side of Route 306 approximately 60 feet North of Boar Court. The property is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 32.15-2-16, and is located in an R-40 zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
3. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) with respect to an application of Shelly Lerner, 26 S. Parker Drive, Monsey, New York 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled “26 S. Parker Drive”, proposing two curb cuts. The property in question is located at 26 S. Parker Drive, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the North side of S. Parker Drive, approximately 174 feet East of Rosmel Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 41.19-2-61 and is located in a R-25 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
