NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 7:30pm.   

Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person.  Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing.  The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website.  The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.  

  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and final site plan, with respect to an application of Camp Ramaquois, 30 Mountain Road, Pomona, NY 10970, for approval of a site development plan entitled “Proposed Covered Turf Pavilion, proposing to resurface an existing soccer field with turf and construct a 120by 205 covered pavilion with an eave height of 20 feet on the 38.59-acre site, 17.30-acres within Ramapo. The property in question is located at 21 Ladentown Road, Pomonaon the east side ofMountain Road, approximately160 feet North of Mountain Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 24.19-1-4and is locatedin an R-40 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies. 
  2.  Application of Lane Gardens, LLC, 35 West Street, Ste. 202, Spring Valley, NY 10977, for Final Subdivision approval of a subdivisionplan entitled “Lane Gardens”, proposing to subdivide 0.61-acres into three lots and construct a three-family dwelling plus three accessory apartments on one lot and a two-family dwelling with two accessory apartments on the remaining two lots. The property in question is located at20 Lane Street, Monsey, NYon the north side of Lane Streetapproximately 160feet east of Saddle River Road, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.11-2-81, and is located in aR-15CZone.OnAugust 27, 2024, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action,determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued. 
  3.  Application of Gabriel and Passy Stern, 5 Cedar Lane, Monsey, NY 10952, for Final Subdivision approval of a subdivision plan entitled “5 Cedar Lane”, proposing to subdivide 0.40-acres into two lots and construct a two-family dwelling with two accessory apartments on each lotThe property in question is located at 5 Cedar Lane, Monsey, NY on the south side of Cedar Lane approximately 364 feet west of Dover Terrace, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-6-15, and is located in a R-15C Zone.OnSeptember 24, 2024, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action,determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
