NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will meet on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 8:00pm and will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those applications.
The remote meeting will be convened at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY, but the Board members, applicants and their representatives, and the public will attend the meeting remotely via the Zoom platform, using the instructions below.
At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following application(s). Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the posted meeting agenda.

Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Avnei Chosen, 220 Route 306, Monsey, NY 10952 for approval of a site development plan entitled 220 Route 306 showing an addition to existing building and conversion to a House of Worship. The property in question is a 0.58-acre lot in a R-25 Zone. The property in question is located at 220 Route 306, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the East side of Routh 306, approximately 1,465 feet South of Viola Road-Route74, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.12-2-12. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on November 16, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on November 19, 2021. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Revised Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Congregation Zwehill of Monsey, 101 West Maple Avenue, Monsey, New York 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled Congregation Zwehil of Monsey showing an expansion of existing house of worship including proposed Mikvah. The property in question is a .788-acre lot in a R-35 Zone, located at 101 West Maple Avenue, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the West side of Maple Avenue, approximately 163 feet North of Carlton Road, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-3-49. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on November 16, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on November 19, 2021. The property in question is located at 4 Caville Drive, Monsey, New York 10952 on the East side of Caville Drive, approximately 80 feet North of Old Nyack Turnpike, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.20-3-7 and is located in a R-15A zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on December 7, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on December 17, 2021. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to an application of Joel Phillip, 18 Francis Place, Monsey, NY 10952, for approval of a subdivision plan entitled 16 Smolley Dr consisting of a two-lot subdivision with a single-family residence on lot, existing tennis court to be removed and existing residence and driveway proposed to remain on the 1-acre site. The property in question is located at 16 Smolley Drive, Monsey, New York 10952 on the North side of Smolley Drive, approximately 0 feet Across of Sophia Street, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.14-1-22 and is located in a R-40 zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action on December 7, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on December 17, 2021.
