Planning Board Meeting June 25, 2024 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) with respect to an application of Mosdos Sanz of Monsey, 50 Slinn Avenue, Spring Valley, NY 10977 for Amended Final Site Plan approval of a site development plan entitled “Bait Channa 50 Slinn Avenue”, proposing the addition of an in-ground pool to the existing school site on 1.43-acres. The property in question is located at 50 Slinn Avenue, Spring Valley, NY on the East side of Slinn Avenue, approximately 300 feet North of East Hickory Street, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.18-1-2 and is located in an R-15 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action on May 14, 2024, and a coordinated review was initiated on May 17, 2024.
2. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) with respect to an application of 14 Johanna Lane, LLC, 3311 Parkview Drive, Spring Valley, NY 10977, for approval of a site development plan entitled “14 Johanna Lane”, proposing an additional curb cut for the development of a two-family detached residence. The property in question is located at 14 Johanna Lane, Monsey, NY on the North side of Johanna Lane, approximately 280 feet East of Roberts Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.15-1-27 and is located in an R-15 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
