Planning Board Meeting March 9, 2021 at 7:30 pm via ZOOM

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a remote Meeting will be held by the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 7:30pm, or as soon thereafter as all matters can be heard at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York. The remote Meeting will be held via the ZOOM platform as Governor Cuomo's Executive Orders allows. The public will be able to watch or listen to or otherwise lawfully participate in the Meeting, which will be recorded, and a transcript will be available later. Minutes of actions taken at the meeting will be filed in the Town Clerk's office as soon as possible. As in-person attendance by board members, applicants and interested members of the public is not permitted because of the COVID-19 Executive Orders issued by the Governor, the procedure for those wishing to participate via ZOOM in the scheduled Public Hearings below will be timely posted on the Town website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following applications. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents is available on the Town website.


Details on the on the following Agenda items:


1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) for the Application of Hillside Mikvah of 28 Raymond Avenue, Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977 with respect to a drawing entitled Site Plan for Hillside Mikvah for a Community Mikvah on 3.17 acres. The property in question is located at 77, 79 and 85 Hillside Avenue on the south side of Hillside Avenue, approximately 2,229 feet west of Saddle River Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 62.18-2-1.1, 62.18-2.-1.2 and 62.13-2-3 in an R-50 Zone.


2. Application of Chaya Schlesinger, 9 Cedar Lane Monsey, NY 10952, for Final Subdivision Approval with respect to a drawing entitled Subdivision for 72 Carlton Road, consisting of a Two Lot Subdivision with an existing single family dwelling on lot 1 and a new single family dwelling on lot 2 on 0.84 acres. The property in question is located at 72 Carlton Road on the west side of Kupperman Lane, approximately 0 feet south of Carlton Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.18-1-5 in a R-35 Zone.


3. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Site Plan Discussion and Special Permit Discussion for the application of Congregation Talmud Torah, 47 Briarcliff Drive, Monsey, NY 10952 with respect to a drawing entitled Site Plan for 244 Viola Road consisting of a conversion and addition to an existing single family dwelling for a new school on 1.0810 acres. The property in question is located at 244 Viola Road on the north side of Viola Road, approximately 711 feet east of Concord Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.07-1-41 in a R-40 Zone.


4. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Revised Final Site Plan Approval with respect to an application of Richard Gordon, 14 Skyline Drive, Upper Saddle River, NJ for Ramapo Opthalmology Associates with respect to drawing entitled Planimetric Plan for 3 Medical Park Drive for the expansion of the commercial building and the addition of a second floor and parking on 0.94 acres. The property in question is located at 3 Medical Park Drive on the south side of Medical Park Drive, approximately 230 feet east of Route 45, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 33.19-2-10 in a LO Zone.


Subject to the posted procedure, all present at the time an application is called and wishing to address the Planning Board will be heard. Written comments on an application submitted in accordance with the posted procedures will be accepted and considered by the Planning Board as part of the record on that application.
