Planning Board Meeting November 18, 2020 7:30PM To Be Held Via ZOOM Conference

LEGAL NOTICE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a remote Meeting will be held by the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as all matters can be heard at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York. The remote Meeting will be held via the ZOOM platform as Governor Cuomo's Executive Orders allows.  The public will be able to watch or listen to or otherwise lawfully participate in the Meeting, which will be recorded, and a transcript will be available later.  Minutes of actions taken at the meeting will be filed in the Town Clerk's office as soon as possible.  As in-person attendance by board members, applicants and interested members of the public is not permitted because of the COVID-19 Executive Orders issued by the Governor, the procedure for those wishing to participate via ZOOM in the scheduled Public Hearings below will be timely posted on the Town website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG

At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following applications.  Links to files containing the application and supporting documents is available on the Town website.

Details on the on the following Agenda items:

  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Sketch Plat Discussion and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to Application of Kollel Boker of Monsey, 151 Blauvelt Road Monsey, NY 10952 of a drawing entitled 151 Blauvelt Road consisting of a proposed two lot subdivision with a three family dwelling with three accessory apartments on lot 1 and a three family dwelling with two accessory apartments one lot 2 on 0.37 acres. The property in question is located at 151 Blauvelt Road on the west side of Blauvelt Road, approximately 240 feet north of Manor Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-5-34 in an R15-C zone.  
  2. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Sketch Plat Discussion and Sketch Plat Approval and with respect to Application of Rosa Templer of 16 Cedar Lane Monsey, NY 10952 of a drawing entitled 16 Cedar Lane consisting of a proposed two lot subdivision with a three family dwelling with one accessory apartment on each lot, on 0.45 acres. The property in question is located at 16 Cedar Lane on the north side of Cedar Lane, approximately 275 feet west of Crown Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-6-3 in an R15-C zone.
  3. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion and with respect to Application of Alter Benedikt 4 Divot Place, Suffern, NY 10901 of a drawing entitled 74 W. Eckerson Road, consisting of Office Building on 0.32 acres. The property in question is located at 74 West Eckerson Road on the South side of West Eckerson Road, approximately 300 feet east of NY Route 45, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 50.14-4-28 in an NS zone.
  4. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Site Plan Discussion and Special Permit Discussion for the application of  Congregation Yad Eluzer INC, 40 Wallenberg Circle, Monsey, NY 120952 with respect to a drawing entitled 6 Cucolo Lane, consisting of a school with 75 students with a dormitory on 1.15 acres. The property in question is located at 6 Cucolo Lane, Monsey, New York 10952 on the north side of Cucolo Lane, 386 feet east from College, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Sections, Blocks, Lots 56.10-2-3 in an R-25 zone.
  5. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Amended Site Plan Discussion, Amended Special Permit Discussion, Amended Final Site Plan Approval and Amended Special Permit Approval for the application of  Mosdos Sanz of Monsey, 50 Slinn Avenue, Spring Valley NY 10977 with respect to a drawing entitled Bait Chana, consisting of a school with 400 students on 1.4 acres. The property in question is located at 50 Slinn Avenue, Spring Valley, NY 10977 on the east side of Slinn Avenue, 300 feet south from East Hickory Street, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Sections, Blocks, Lots 50.18-1-2 in an R-15 zone. 
  6. Application of Barbara Schwimmer, 19 Jeffrey Place Monsey, NY 10952, for Amended Site Plan Discussion of a drawing entitled 46 Ellish Parkway, consisting of a three family dwelling with two accessory apartments. The property in question is: 46 Ellish Parkway Monsey, NY 10952, located on the north side of Ellish Parkway, approximately zero feet west from Neil Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 50.17-1-45 in an R-15C zone.
  7. Application of Ari Waldman/Cong Divrei Chaim, 61 Carlton Road, Monsey NY, 10952, for Revised Special Permit Approval, with respect to a drawing entitled Divrei Chaim, consisting of a proposed increased student body to an existing school on 0.88 acres. The property in question is located at 61 Carlton Road on the south side of Carlton Road, approximately 550 feet east of Ruth Court, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.18-2-32.1 in an R-35 zone.

 

Subject to the posted procedure, all present at the time an application is called and wishing to address the Planning Board will be heard. Written comments on an application submitted in accordance with the posted procedures will be accepted and considered by the Planning Board as part of the record on that application
