NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 8:00pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public may attend in-person or via Zoom. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website.

1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) with respect to an application of Israel D. Weizel, 135 Route 306, Unit 111, Monsey, New York 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled “2 Dunhill Ln”, proposing two curb cuts. The property in question is located at 2 Dunhill Lane, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the East side of Dunhill Lane, approximately 0 feet South of Carlton Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-5-16 in an R-15A Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
2. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Revised Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Cong Anshei Forshay, 20 S. Parker Drive, Monsey, New York 10952, for approval of a revised site development plan entitled 20 South Parker Drive, showing three additions to an existing House of Worship and a temporary trailer. The property in question is a 0.622-acre lot in an R-35 Zone. It is located at 20 S. Parker Drive, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the North side of South Parker Drive, approximately 500 feet East of Rosmel Drive, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 41.19-2-64. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
3. Application of SG Family Trust, 1 Carter Lane, Monsey, New York 10952 for Final Subdivision Approval of a subdivision plan entitled “242 Blauvelt Road”, a 0.44-acre lot consisting of a two-lot subdivision with a three family plus three accessory apartments on each lot. Existing dwelling to be demolished. The property in question is located at 242 Blauvelt Road, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the East side of Blauvelt Road, approximately 100 feet North of Manor Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-5-37 in a R-15C Zone. Following classification of the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action and a coordinated SEQRA review, on October 12, 2021 the Planning Board determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
4. Application of Israel Schiff, 3 Joshua Court Monsey, New York 10952 for Final Site Plan Approval of a site plan entitled “5 South Remsen”, consisting of a conversion of single-family dwelling to a Local House of Worship on a 0.28-acre site. The property in question is located at 5 S. Remsen Street, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the East side of Remsen Street, approximately 89 feet South of Route 59, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.14-3-14 in a R-15 Zone. Following classification of the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action and a coordinated SEQRA review, on March 8, 2022 the Planning Board determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
